Unlock government benefits and support for your micro, small, or medium enterprise.
Understanding MSME (Udyam) Registration
**MSME Registration**, now known as **Udyam Registration**, is a crucial government initiative in India aimed at facilitating the growth and development of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises. Launched under the Ministry of MSME, it provides a unique **Udyam Registration Number (URN)** and a digital certificate to officially recognize businesses as MSMEs.
This registration is a **self-declaration based, paperless, and free-of-cost process**. It has replaced the older Udyog Aadhaar Memorandum (UAM) system, simplifying the classification and registration of enterprises. The Udyam portal is integrated with Income Tax and GSTIN systems, automatically fetching investment and turnover details, which makes the process more streamlined and transparent.
By obtaining Udyam Registration, businesses gain access to a wide array of government schemes, subsidies, and incentives designed to foster their growth, enhance competitiveness, and provide financial stability.
